Privacy
This page explains what personal data the platform collects, why it uses it, and who can see it. What is written here is how the platform actually works.
Who is responsible
The data is controlled by Milliy Kengash. For any privacy question, request or objection there is one address: milliykengash@gmail.com.
What is collected
For the account: given name, surname, patronymic (optional), email address, affiliation, country, ORCID and academic title (both optional), and your chosen interface language. If you sign in through Milliy ID, the identifier and profile the provider confirms are stored as well.
For a submission: title, abstract and keywords in the original language and in English, the full author list with name, email, affiliation, country and ORCID, the manuscript file, the track, the language and the presentation preference. You enter these yourself and can see them in your cabinet at any time.
Technical records: sign-in sessions, a log of the letters sent to you, and an audit trail of who did what. To limit repeated attempts the IP address is not stored in the clear — only an irreversible hash of it is kept. Your browser holds two security cookies that only the server can read, and your day or night display choice.
Why it is used
The data is used only to receive your work, examine it, reach a decision, tell you the outcome, and publish an accepted work. Nothing is used for advertising and nothing is sold.
Who can see it
Your work is visible to you, to the programme chair and organiser of the conference you sent it to, and to the platform administrator. A chair or organiser can only ever see their own conference submissions — the system enforces that limit rather than trusting convention. Other authors never see your work.
Third-party services
The platform relies on three outside services: Milliy ID for signing in, a mail delivery service to carry the letters sent to you, and a payment provider where a conference charges a fee. Each receives only what its own task requires.
How long it is kept
Your account and the works you sent are kept until you ask for them to be removed. An accepted work, its versions and its decision are the conference scholarly record and stay in the archive — erasing that record would falsify the publication itself. Mail logs and audit entries are kept so that what happened can be reconstructed.
Your rights
You may ask to see the data held about you, to correct what is wrong, to delete your account, or to receive a copy. Write to milliykengash@gmail.com. A work that has not yet been decided can be withdrawn from your cabinet at any moment.
How it is protected
The site is served over HTTPS, passwords are stored in a form that cannot be reversed, and the session cookies are invisible to page scripts. Manuscript files are not reachable from the open internet: a file reaches only someone entitled to it, through a check made on every request. The database and the uploaded files are backed up nightly.
